Luxury meets a bold, sophisticated design aesthetic in this ocean view condo located in Miami, Florida. This client approached AK&CO with the request to update their existing kitchen and incorporate a design palette that reflected clean lines, a classic color palette, and a modern use of shapes and materials. The 1 bedroom, 1 bath refresh included the following interior design services: furniture curation, procurement, tracking, and installation. The project was completed in October 2020.

A newly renovated 1,267 square foot apartment for a mother/daughter duo in the heart of NYC.  Set in a Beaux-Arts Revival style building built in 1913, the main directive for this space was to establish a home that felt relaxed, sophisticated, and serene with delicate touches of blues and purples.  The 2 bedroom/2 bath scope included interior design services such as demolition, project management and coordination with the clients’ selected contractor, lighting and electrical layout coordination, drafting, detailed millwork drawings, and furniture curation, procurement, tracking, and installation.  The project was completed in December 2019.  

A refresh of a studio located in the midst of New York’s Flatiron District.  This client came to us looking for help to blend existing pieces from his previous home with the multi-faceted requirements of a studio apartment.  Scope included furniture and accessory curation, procurement, tracking and installation.  The project was completed in January 2020.  

Project completed while working at Pineapple House Interior Design, Atlanta, GA. The Treasure Coast residence included custom ceiling and floor designs at the main foyer, living area, master bedroom and master bath.  Strong client communication and visual presentations were used during the early schematic phase, while product specification and design documentation helped to make the overall design a reality.

2016 Gold Key Finalist - Best Hotel Upscale & Best Hotel Guestroom Upscale

The boutique hotel located in the 14th Street Northwest neighborhood of DC was completed Spring 2016 while working at Bill Rooney Studio, NYC.  Project team was responsible for all interior design of the hotel public areas, and guestrooms.

Inspired by Cristo's art installation of the islands in Biscayne Bay, the residences at One Park Grove embrace the bohemian culture of marina living in Miami, Florida.  Project designed while working at Meyer Davis Studio, NYC.  Overall scope included the tower interiors, interior design of the amenity spaces, poolside cabanas and other and boutique food and beverage outlets.  Tentative project completion is scheduled for 2018.

The first two of three newly designed co-working spaces for the The Assemblage. Overall scope included the interior design of all interior spaces including the main lobby levels, co-working floors, multiple food and beverage outlets and extended stay guestrooms at the 17 John Street location.  The NoMad location was completed winter 2017, and 17 John Street opened spring 2018. Awarded Best of Year Coworking Space 2018. Both locations completed while working at Meyer Davis Studio, NYC.
